Preferred GLOW

I decided to try CLEANSE after I finished my container of GLOW, wanting to compare the digestive benefits of both products. After purchasing Cleanse, I received and email from The Beauty Chef with a Cleanse program guideline. To be fair, I didn't purchase the product with the intention of detoxing.

As for taste and benefits of the products, I preferred the sweet flavour of Glow over the subtle apple flavour of Cleanse. I did not enjoy the fibre in Cleanse. I got better digestive relief from Glow.

I use Beauty Chef products as gut support for overall health and improved skin. I understand they are similar yet different products, but depending on your goals and your budget, I would recommend Glow over Cleanse.

The Beauty Chef

Thank you for your feedback, We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy CLEANSE. Many of our customers like to start with one tub of CLEANSE to detox or cleanse the system - it particularly beneficial when feeling sluggish following times of excess, then switching over to GLOW for ongoing daily maintenance & support of the gut and skin. Due to the increased fibre from CLEANSE, it may be a good idea to start at a reduced serving (such as 1/2 teaspoon), and gradually build up to the recommended serving size, to simply allow the body to adjust. Some customers with acne or congested skin, prefer to stay on CLEANSE. Though if you do not intend on detoxing and you are just looking to benefit your overall wellbeing, it is perfectly fine to stay on our GLOW Inner Beauty Essential. Thank you for sharing! x

Game Changer!

After struggling for many years with Acne and Gut Issues despite living a really healthy lifestyle, I have finally found what I've been missing! I have been taking both Cleanse and Glow for a month now and within the first few weeks not only did it significantly help ease my digestion and bloating, but my congested skin started to clear! These products have now become a staple in my everyday lifestyle and I can't wait to recommend them to my friends. Thankyou The Beauty Chef, beauty really does start from within!

Clearer skin!

Even though I keep a fairly healthy lifestyle and diet, I’ve always had issues with breakouts and inflammation (having come from a history of eczema and irritation), so decided to give Cleanse Inner Beauty Essential a try.

Over the course of a month I’ve seen improvements in much clearer and smoother skin.

I have no issue with taste at all and simply have been mixing it into plain water and taking it daily first thing in the morning after a glass of warm water.

Beauty Chef also includes a 14-day detox/cleanse guide on purchase - I’ve yet to give that a go seeing as am happy with results so far with just taking the powder with water and no change to my diet required.

Good but not for me

This was my first beauty chef product and I did like it. I felt that I felt better overall but my tummy issues persisted. I am currently using gut primer which is working to help settle those issues. Will probably go back to cleanse after a couple of months on gut primer as I really prefer the taste.

Magic

I have struggled with extreme bloating for the last year and have tried everything - cutting out certain certain foods, tonnes of supplements, acupuncture etc. Since using Cleanse, I have seen massive improvements in my bloating and overall digestive health. I absolutely swear by it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does cleanse contain fibre?

+
It is rich in soluble fibre, which is fuel for the good bacteria in the gut, as well as helping to sweep the intestines clean.

Is the cleanse powder/program safe to use with type 2 diabetes?

+
CLEANSE is made from whole foods that are naturally low in fructose. It is usually fine to use if you have type 2 diabetes, but everyone is different. Therefore we always suggest that you consult your healthcare practitioner before commencing these products. In addition, always start the product at a reduced dose of 1/8 tsp and gradually increase until you are at the full recommended dose. This allows you to monitor your blood sugar levels closely.

I have just started the 14-day cleanse program and i am feeling really tired and worse than normal.

+
CLEANSE contains herbs and nutrients that are designed to gently support your body’s own natural detoxification processes. For some people who have never done a CLEANSE before, this may present with certain symptoms – including mild headaches, minor skin breakouts, fatigue, moodiness and mild general aches and pains. These are all signs that the body’s elimination and detoxification pathways are overwhelmed by the cleaning process. They can also be the effects of withdrawal from a food or chemical. A common example is the headache people experience when they stop caffeine. While these signs and symptoms are an indication that the 14-day CLEANSE program is working, they aren't necessary and can be uncomfortable. So what can we do about them? At any stage, if you are feeling too uncomfortable, reduce the dose of the CLEANSE Inner Beauty Powder to half. Once the symptoms have subsided, then you can resume at the full dose. Other things to try include: Increasing your water intake. You should be drinking at least 2 litres of fresh filtered water on this program, but some people may need more. Increase to 2.5 litres and even 3 litres if the detox symptoms are still strong. Reducing the intensity of your exercise, especially if you are feeling fatigued during the program.

Since taking cleanse i have been experiencing digestive complaints – bloating, flatulence, discomfort, etc. what does this mean?

+
It is very rare, but occasionally CLEANSE may cause some digestive discomfort when first starting. Firstly, if your body isn't used to the level of fibre that it contains, then it can cause some initial bloating and flatulence when you first start taking it. In addition, CLEANSE is an effective probiotic and prebiotic, and when you first start taking these, they can also cause bloating and discomfort as your own internal bowel flora adjust.
