High Protein Spiced Apple and Coconut Cake - A delicious, gluten & grain free, protein-packed treat using Body Protein+ 

 

  • 2 large apples, grated
  • 1 cup coconut flour (or almond flour if preferred)
  • 1/4 cup Body Protein+ (Vanilla)
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Coconut (for topping)
  • Greek yoghurt (for topping)
  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease or line an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients: flour, Body Protein+, cinnamon, baking powder, grated apples, melted coconut oil, maple syrup (or honey), and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool before serving. Top with coconut and Greek yoghurt, enjoy!
