The anti-inflammatory plate your gut (and skin) will thank you for. Crispy, savoury, glow-boosting, and ridiculously easy to throw together.

Sweet potato's beta-carotene and fibre nourish the gut microbiome from the inside out, while grass-fed beef brings bioavailable iron and zinc to support energy and immunity. Avocado's monounsaturated fats help quell inflammation and keep skin glowing, and hemp seeds round it out with plant-based omega-3s. Finish with the vinegary rocket for a dose of bitter greens to aid digestion.

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 250g organic, grass-fed beef mince
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 1 tbsp grass-fed butter
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Handful of rocket
  • Squeeze of hot honey
  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Prick the sweet potato with a fork, wrap in foil, and cook for 40–45 minutes, until soft and caramelised.
  3. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper, and sauté until the onion softens.
  4. Add the beef mince and cook until browned.
  5. Unwrap the sweet potato, slice it open lengthwise, and add the butter to melt.
  6. Layer the beef on top of the sweet potato and add the sliced avocado.
  7. Toss the rocket in olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper, add to the top.
  8. Finish with hemp seeds and a squeeze of hot honey. Enjoy!
