A refreshing take on classic iced tea, this berry blend includes our new IMMUNE FOOD™ Inner Beauty Support for an added wellbeing boost. 

Containing bio-fermented mushrooms—including turkey tail and shiitake—as well as prebiotic green banana starch and iodine-rich kelp, IMMUNE FOOD™ has been formulated to help immune system function and promote greater wellbeing from the inside out. And when accompanied by herbaceous skin-loving sage and Manuka honey, it’s a delicious way to sip your way to good health!

Serves 1

Ingredients

Berry flavour options:
4 small strawberries, hulled and halved
4 blackberries, slightly squashed to release flavour
6 raspberries

2 slices of lime
2 sage leaves
½ cup (125mL) just boiled water
1 teaspoon raw or Manuka honey
½ cup (125mL) chilled filtered water
1 teaspoon IMMUNE FOOD™ Inner Beauty Support
Ice, to serve

Method:

1. Place your choice of berries, along with the lime and sage leaves in a coffee plunger jug, or heatproof glass jug or jar such as a Pyrex jug or mason jar. Pour in the boiled water and allow to steep for 10 - 15 minutes. 

2. Add the honey and stir to combine. Pour in the chilled water.

3. Half-fill a highball glass or tumbler with ice. Pour in the iced tea. Stir in the IMMUNE FOOD. Serve immediately. 

NOTE: This sage, lime and berry iced tea base can be made in advance, or in larger batches, and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Simply stir in IMMUNE FOOD when ready to serve.
