A traditional Middle Eastern recipe, this delicious and super-refreshing drink
is great for digestion and skin health. It may sound counter-intuitive to include
salt, but using the right salt (Celtic sea salt or Himalayan pink) means you're
adding minerals and electrolytes, as well as aiding hydration to keep skin
supple. Yoghurt promotes the growth of friendly gut bacteria, essential for
radiant skin and is a good source of beauty boosting protein, B vitamins and
minerals, including calcium. A sprig of mint is both cleansing and alkalising
and gives the drink a fresh zing.
500ml ice-cold filtered water
Mix all ingredients together well in a blender. Serve with a sprig of mint on top of each glass.
